We were in Lech/Zug for the first time and immediately found the best hotel imaginable. Small but exquisite, quiet, and family-friendly. Even our little dog was warmly welcomed. Everyone was very kind and attentive, the food in the in-house restaurant was first-class. The rooms are modern, and we had a great view of the mountains. The breakfast was as bountiful as you wouldn't even get it in larger star hotels. In combination with the view from the terrace, it's priceless. We will gladly come back and look forward to our next visit.

Enjoy relaxation at a family-run hotel. The Birk family and their team, full of wonderful individuals, make the hotel and the business even more likable. They create a very special atmosphere. You always feel welcome, even with small special requests. The house itself leaves nothing to be desired in summer as well as winter. It is lovingly furnished with lovingly arranged details, and every season brings a new surprise. There is an increasing focus on sustainability and the environment, with ongoing adjustments. Despite all the seasonal stress, there is always time for a personal and warm conversation, and those who wish to do so, can experience the hotel's daily processes in an extremely positive way, which we find very nice. We come here every year, often twice.

Hotel Stäfeli stands for pure well-being. The Birk family and the entire team run the hotel with a lot of heart and fulfil all wishes during the vacation. The ambiance invites you to a enjoy a snack by the fireplace after skiing with magnificent view of the nearby Madlochwand. The entire house and the rooms are very clean, well-maintained, and we feel at home here. Our dietary requests regarding intolerances were taken into consideration very well, and there was always an alternative to choose from! We look forward to the next skiing experience in Zug at the house of the Birk family!

The Birk family and the entire team welcome the guests with heart and honest hospitability. Many loving details characterize the exceptionally familial and cosy atmosphere at Stäfeli. The premises are spacious, inviting, and clean. Especially breakfast makes all wishes come true. My personal highlights: The fantastic location of Stäfeli (summer & winter) and the gift of being allowed to feel at home here.

A wonderful hotel with a familiar atmosphere and a wide range of leisure activities. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet, snacks, and dinner at Achtele are excellent.

We were at "Achtele", the cosy little restaurant that is part of Hotel Stäfeli. Everything there is just right: a rustic and cosy Stube, friendly, impeccable service, an exceptional selection of dishes, and expert advice regarding wine pairing. We had a superb evening with delicious food and a good bottle of wine, and we will definitely stop by again during our next Arlberg vacation.

Decorated and managed with a lot of sensitivity. Exquisite in food and drinks, where one is not overwhelmed by the quantity offered, but delighted by the quality. I don't believe there is much room for improvement.

If you want to experience a special evening, Achtele with the Birk family & team is the right place. A lot of warmth combined with top service and the small but very fine menu leaves nothing to be desired. The decision is extremely difficult in terms of taste, especially for regular guests.

The choice is hard! One would prefer to savour the menu from top to bottom: the legendary Achtele classics and new dishes, depending on the season. Selected regional products are used and presented with attention to detail. In addition, you can taste numerous wines by the glass. The service is extremely attentive and courteous. A feel-good place!

A wonderful dinner. My partner had the steak fillet, and I had the venison filet Mignon - both were perfect. The waiter recommended a wonderful wine that complemented our meals and also decanted the wine for us. Attentive service and very friendly. We were very satisfied. (Prices similar to other restaurants in the area and the food was worth every cent of it).
